The public use area is most often noticed by passersby and guests and frequently includes the front yard, drive, walks, and principal entrance on the home. A first consideration is to direct visitors to the front door. This can be accomplished with several landscape functions.
Traditional landscape designs often incorporate the removal of all water offsite as quickly as possible.
